Calculation of the logarithmically scaled modified Bessel function Iv (z) of the first kind
The function Bessel-Ie calculates the exponentially scaled modified Bessel function Iv (z) of the first kind. The modified Bessel functions do not show an oscillating but an exponential behavior. BesselIe (n, z) is a solution of the modified Bessel differential equation.
This function expects real numbers as arguments. You can find Bessel functions for complex numbers here .
To perform the calculation, enter a real number and the order number. Then click on the 'Calculate' button.

The Bessel-Ie function calculates the exponentially scaled modified Bessel function Iv (z) of the first kind. The modified Bessel functions do not show an oscillating but an exponential behavior. BesselIe (n, z) is a solution of the modified Bessel differential equation.
The result is a complex number if z is negative and n is a decimal number.
