Gradient - gradient of a straight line

  • Calculates the gradient (steepness) of a straight line between two points in the coordinate system

  • The endpoints of the straight line are defined with two objects of the class Point

Syntax
  • Grad (Point(x,y), Point(x,y))
Example
  • Grad(Point(1,5),Point(4,8))= 4
Description

The gradient of a line segment is a measure of how steep the line is. A line with a large gradient will be steep; a line with a small gradient will be relatively shallow; and a line with zero gradient will be horizontal.
